Kampong Cham is the capital city of the province of the same name, and lies ~125kms to the north east of Phnom Penh. On one of its traffic roundabouts is a distinctive statue of a dragon fruit (Pitaya), a popular fruit in south east Asia. This sculpture depicts the fruit in a gold colour.

There is no plaque. I gather it is a simple piece of street art, meant to beautify the intersection. Perhaps not the greatest piece of art I have ever seen, but it is distinctive and redolent of the region.
