These stocks are a historic replica from the colonial period. The farm has two areas, colonial and Amercian Civil War era. Employees wear the appropiate garb. The stocks are near the Hawk's Head Public House, a restaurant typical of the colonial era.
The picture doesn't show it well, but there is a bench behind the right stocks.
