The Railroad Museum of Oklahoma is located in a renovated Santa Fe freight depot at 702 N. Washington, north of downtown Enid. The museum opened in April 1989.

Over one million pieces of railroad memorabilia are on display, as well as extensive HO, N-scale and Lionel model railroads/scenery. There is also a gift shop.
Twice a year, excursions are held, as fundraisers for the museum. In September a run from Enid to Drummond (10 miles each way) takes place. Then, in May, to coincide with the Rattlesnake Roundup, an excursion from Enid to Okeene (38 miles each way). Tickets are sold for the trip which consists of locomotives pulling 8 cabooses.
Outside the building, on the North side is a full two city block area displaying dozens of pieces of rolling stock.
