under construction, is a state-of-the-art, nine-story, 300,000 square-foot tower. And every inch is designed exclusively for the special health care needs of children.
Construction of The Children’s Hospital building began in August 2009 and is set for completion in fall 2011. It will be ten stories tall. it is being built in the former parking lot, so before construction could begin on the new tower, a new parking structure was built adjacent to the existing parking structure where a small clinic used to stand.
