The Hawaiian Humane Society is the second oldest Charity dating back to 1883. The main adoption areas are pens for the dogs and a cat house for the feline friends. Near the front desk are cages that house rabbits and guinea pigs. I saw a turtle, but was not sure of its status.
We found the Society when we were on vacation and we needed a kitty fix. Surpried to find no pet stores with cats, we were directed to the Hawaiian Humane Society. Apparently, for cats, they are only available through adoption at the Hawaiian Humane Society. We spent an hour or so in the cat house. Three rooms with cats all over the place.
