The text in Czech says:
"Here died by a cruel hand of two highwaymen hobnail maker Danda, a trader from Ingolstadt in Bavaria".
The site is located just north of Karlova Ves, next to the cemetery. The crime was later described in a popular Bänkelsang-style folk song.
