The baths are no longer open to the public, altho the springs water flows through the taps of the motel.
Buckhorn Baths opened in 1939. Its mineral hot springs drew the ill, and the celebrities. There is a lot of history to the old baths. Its original proprietor, an old woman nearly 100 yrs old, still cares for the place. It has a lovely garden and museum. Lately, there have been a lot of vandals. It has taken a toll on her.

Out of concern for the owner over her distress about recent vandalism, please take your photo from across the street. There is a Jack in the Box across the street that you can take the photo from without upseting the owner of the baths. Or you can take it from across Recker Rd, near the soon to be built Walgreens.
