The font dates to 1395 and commemorates Sir Thomas of Eskhead, a former Vicar of Crosthwaite. The font is octagonal with foliage in relief. The bowl has a representation of the trinity around the faces.

The font ewer was made by the Keswick School of Industrial Art, a movement started by Canon Rawnsley, a former Vicar of Crosthwaite.
