More than 100 years old, that building had been closed down sometime and had been used as coal scales - until it was discovered virtually again. The necessary formalities have been cleared easily with the town, then it could go to the renovation.
At least once in a year - at the last sunday in june - the bakery comes alive at the periphery of Langewiesen. There is a huge parking area along the street and additionally there's the bicycle trail Ilmtal (german: Ilmtalradweg).
