The Blackwell Police Department has aproximately 25 employees. Fred LeValley has been The Chief of Police for Blackwell since 2003. He has over 39 years of experience in law enforcment.
The Police Station has a holding center to hold criminals until they are released to the Kay County Jail.
In the rear of the building it houses the Blackwell Fire Department.
