She is buried in the St Josephs Polish National Catholic Cemetery which is dedicated to the memory of Steve Zalusky, Katie's husband who predeceased her by almost 25 years.
This cemetery used to be beside Hwy 59 when Hwy 59 was a 2 lane highway. Now Hwy 59 is a 4 lane divided highway and the cemetery is in the area between the northbound and southbound lanes of the highway.
