The area of Northern Lago Maggiore is a popular bicycle destination.
Easy ways along the shore of the lake and through medieval towns or into the valleys and over the mountains with altitude differences of over 1000 m, there are routes for every taste. There are numerous bike rentals in the area. One of the bigger and better know is Bike & Cicli Chiandussi located just outside the historic center of Ascona, near the post office.
