Jim Bouton brought to the City of Pittsfield, MA a plan to renovate Wahconah Park and bring a professional ball team at no cost to the taxpayers. The City rejected Jim's plan in favor of a plan to build an $18.5 Million Stadium, brought to the City by an elite group of power brokers, at taxpayers' expense, that voters voted down three times. The political wrangling cost the City both plans and a baseball team.
