Two nice large fountains, illuminated during night, you can find in Place Jean Jaurès, one of the main public spaces in the historic centre of Tours.
Place Jean Jaurès, with its two grandiose fountains, is the intersection of four boulevards in the centre-ville. The commercial rue Nationale, once part of the main road between Paris and Spain, runs north to the Loire, while avenue de Grammont reaches toward the Cher River to the south. Boulevard Béranger and boulevard Heurteloup run west and east, respectively, from Place Jean Jaurès.
