This Knights of Pythias building is located in Central City, one of Colorado's richest gold mining towns during the gold rush. The order was apparently quite active as there is a Knights of Pythias cemetery nearby which draws many genealogists and tombstone seekers. I was unable to find anything about the group during its active period.
