The road starts off fairly easy and gets more difficult as you proceed farther in. Most of this is a cakewalk in a 4x4, except the last few hundred metres to the lookout point. The most fun part in a 4x4 is getting to the top - you'll need good ground clearance to get up there.
In the winter, this is a designated OFSC Snowmobile Trail, and you will need a permit during the winter months. No permit required in the summer.
To get to the lookout, follow the forest road north (past the loggers and their road improvements). When you get to N47 46.981 W81 39.399, turn left and follow the road up to the top.
Remember, this is a remote wilderness area. Tell someone where you are going, and do not rely on your cellular phone here - good chance it will not work. Posted co-ordinates are for the intersection of this forest road and Highway 144. You can also come in from N47 55.550 W81 36.909.
