Langewiesen is a town in the Ilm-Kreis district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated on the river Ilm, 4 km southeast of Ilmenau. Close to the sign of Langewiesen there is this topiary.

The listed topiary shows the signature of Langewiesen by a well cut hedge with red leaves.

It's nearby to the crossing of the federal highway 88 and an old decommisioned railroad crossing close to the sign of Langewiesen in direction to Gehren thus in southern part ot the town. Also there is a bycicle route.

The hedge is on a small talus and can only be seen in the summer month, when the hedge is blooming.
