The Grade I listed Queen Anne House, and the Grade II listed Victorian North Wing provide a range of elegant yet comfortable spaces for all types of events, weddings or parties, whilst the stunning 37-acre grounds and historic parkland offer outstanding views and locations, with a range of outdoor space options.
Very much a family home, Hinwick House will appeal to those wanting to hold their wedding reception somewhere warm and truly inviting. Stunning lawns, beautiful gardens and historic outbuildings, making photo opportunities endless, compliment this gracious house.
Up to 60 guests can be seated for dining in North Hall, whilst our spacious marquee in the Walled Courtyard can seat up to 160 diners. Even larger parties can be easily accommodated in marquees on our extensive manicured lawns, with the historic house providing a beautiful backdrop for your reception. You and your guests will be given exclusive use of the venue and grounds, enabling your wedding to be private and intimate.
In the future we hope to hold a Civil Licence allowing for wedding ceremonies to be held in our elegant settings, but until then blessings can be arranged at the local Parish Church of St. Mary The Virgin, in Podington, a short distance from Hinwick House.
