We did not know about this lake until we did a geocache here this year. According to this
web page, this has been officially named Devils Den Lake since June 2nd, 1949. It was adopted from a local name and the origin is unknown.
It is a bit of a hike to get to the location with an elevation change of approximately 25 metres. A trail head can be found at N49 15.215 W124 51.589. Follow the ATV tracks from the road up the incline and continue on the trail through the woods. Near N49 15.215 W124 51.589, there is a fork in the trail, stay right and follow this trail. Keep an eye out to the left near the end of it for a small deer trail. Follow this to the lake. This is bear country, so be Bear Aware.
