The training site includes facilities for both winter and summer games, as well as dormitories and a gift shop. At 6135 feet elevation, the site gives athletes an advantage by increasing lung capacity for events at lower altitudes. The globe is bronze, about 20 feet in diameter, clearly visible to vehicular traffic passing by.
