This pretty little sundial is in New York City's Central Park. It stands on a high point in the Shakespeare Garden, a lovely quiet area with winding paths, rustic benches and quotes from Shakespeare on plaques placed in the flower beds. When I visited here on a sunny March day crocus and daffodils were blooming and the sundial showed the time, 12:30 PM, very accurately.
The garden is located just north of 79th street in the west center of the park. It's west and downhill from the Belvedere Castle.
