The original Jenney Grist Mill was built at this site in 1636 and burnt down in 1837. The original owner was a Pilgrim named John Jenney. He and his family ran the mill for many years.
Today the site operates as a museum. Tours and demonstrations of corn grindings are available. The site also operates an ice cream shop.
The mill is a short walk from Plymouth Rock.
See the Mill's website at (visit link) for more information.
