There are six types of wildflowers described on this sign. They are found in the foredune area along the beach. The sign also includes information about the small dune envrironment, its formation and protection for this beautiful habitat.

The tide is very shallow here, and there is also a lot of shell fish gathering at low tide when the island seen off shore is connected by a low strip of rocks. It is called, "Little Clock Hand Island."

This beach is located at the north end of the many small peninsulas that jut out along Korea's western coastline.
