Located in a prime position overlooking the pier and town below this attractive plinth holds a bust of Queen Victoria. Llandudno has much Victorian architecture including the Victorian pier.
The canopied plinth is stepped, includes a drinking fountain and has an inscription under the bust of Queen Victoria which reads:
'E. Jones J.P. Chairman T.T. Marks C.E. Clock and Engineers Llandudno Improvement Commemorators.'
'Most gracious Majesty Queen Victoria and Empress of India in the Right Hon. Lady Augusta ........in the Happy Valley.'
Some of the lettering is very hard to distinguish being faded with age. Underneath the bust is the date 1887.
