A good example of Victorian architecture, the house dates from around 1900. Unusually for Thames, it features a bull nose verandah roof. Other features include rusticated weatherboards, paired verandah posts, brick chimney, and the original front door with side lights. Tararu was recognised as a desirable residential area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This home is privately owned but can be viewed from the footpath.
