Diese Bronzestatue staht auf dem Marktplatz der Stadt Buchholz in der Nordheide.

Die Statue zeigt eine Mutter mit Kind auf dem Arm und einem Einkaufskorb über den rechten Arm gehängt. Das Kind streckt seine Hand nach etwas aus, als wolle es den Betrachter berühren.

Vor der Statue befindet sich eine kleine Bronzeplakette im Boden die den Titel der Statue sowie den Namen des Künsters und das Errichtungsjahr trägt.
