The Cromlech Boulders are at the roadside near the long layby at Pont y Gromlech. The rock is Welsh igneous and the boulders are at 201m above sea level. They face south west and their major attraction is that they are right next to the road. The Cromlech Boulders offer a wide range of problems at all grades.
From here and the nearby Pen-y-Pass access to Snowdon can be found with many, many other rock climbing opportunities. Parking can be found next to the boulders where you can also view the rock climbing activities. This area does get very busy.
