The plaque reads:
"In Commemoration of the sesqucentennial of St. Johns Lodge No 209 A.F. & A.M.

These three maples were planted by the members of
St. Johns Lodge No 20 & 209
[A.F. & A.M. GRC in the province of Ontario Canada]
To signify each lodge and the original Lodge Sept 22nd 1991
