Big steel block letters spell out "LOVE" inside the former Indianapolis Art Museum; now rebranded as Newfields.
Robert Indiana originally create this image sometime around 1964-1966 (dates vary in different sources) as a silkscreen for a Christmas card commissioned by The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It has been reproduced in several different media including outdoor sculpture, which this piece is the original. Other copies can be found in places such as New York City, Philadephia, Scottsdale, AZ, and Tokyo.
