The North American Bear Center is a live bear exhibit and nature center. The Center focuses on educational resources in regards to bear behavior and human and bear interaction. There are many many exhibits, interactive displays, videos, webcams and so much more.

One of the most informative parts of the center is the new interpretive trail walk. The walk is 1/2 mile long and focuses on native habitat and the bears. This sign is for a veiny pea (lathyrus venosus) and it says that Bears eat the leaf, stem and flowers. The walk is filled with these types of informational signs and they are fun because you could have these plants in your own yard in Minnesota and it is educational because it illustrates the bears habitats.

The Center is full of information, educational aids and a glass wall where you can view the bears.
