This court house is located near the centre of the small town (pop ~30,000), and provincial capital of Sisaket (also transliterated from Thai as: Srisaket, Sisakhet, etc.). It is located in the government precinct of the town, and it is adjacent to several other government buildings. I visited on a Saturday, doors and buildings were closed and locked, with no one, apart from police officers sitting under shady trees, in attendance.
The reason for the police contingent is that, only a month earlier (early-mid 2010), throughout Thailand, there had been 'Red Shirt' protests in the country, and Sisaket is a stronghold of the movement. Thus the local authorities were not taking chances.
The courthouse is of wooden construction, is clearly of some age (it looks to have been built before aircon became an intrinsic feature of government buildings), and, while not imaginative in construction, certainly looks sturdy and well designed. There were no informational plaques present. I could not find an English language website.
