The Millennium pillar on Heversham Head has the first two lines from Psalm 121 etched in the side of the slate disc. The lettering is picked out with gold paint.

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth." are the first two lines from Psalm 121 of the King James version of the Bible.

Heversham Head is the hill north east of the village of same name. The view from here looks south across Morecambe Bay. There are many paths up to here. The simplest is to walk through the churchyard and climb until at the top.
