Located in downtown Scottsdale, an area known for its art galleries, this station is not only functional but artistic. Vito Acconci created the design. The buildings are constructed in perspective, each narrowing towards a vanishing point. The optical effect is enhanced by concentric rings that radiate and overlap. The rings also appear on the sides and tops of the buildings, as if the ground has been folded to create them. This effect is best seen in aerial photographs. Desert native palo brea trees provide shade throughout the site, and the landmark clock tower stands to the north. Travelers can access Scottsdale Trolley and Valley Metro buses. Waypoint takes you to the corner of the station.
