Abbey Park Board Walk - Non-Coastal Boardwalks on Waymarking.com

This is the Abbey Park Board Walk Pershore. This board walk spans a piece of ground that was once a fishing pool used by the monks from the Abbey. Having been filled in some 60 years ago the ground has remained 'boggy' so a boardwalk was placed here some 8 years ago by Wychavon District Council who manage the park and a wetlands feature was made of the ground coditions. The boardwalk also has carvings by a local carver Tom Harvey
