East Bohemian town Miletin has St. George in its coat-of-arms. That is why councilmen decided in 1892 to order equestrian statue of the town patron for new fountain, which was dedicated on August 6, 1892 in the centre of the small town square. St. George in his typical interpretation on the horse with his atributes - spear and standard with the cross fighting with dragon is standing here more than century. A few times was the beatiful statue vandalised and also the fountain was abolished during the century but St. George is still here and he fights his endless battle with the evil.
