Starting at Bayfront Festival Park on the Duluth Harbor Basin. Technically at the starting point it is a river walk as this is the point where the St. Louis River enters into Duluth Harbor and Lake Superior. it runs eastward along the Shores of Lake Superior. The boardwalk is over 3 miles long running through Canal Park, through Leif Erickson Park and ending at London Road. Many informational signage and attractions are part of the boardwalk. Along the way you can see a huge mosiac image wall, Vietnam Memorial and a storm shell where you can watch the huge waves crash in to the shore. Many benches are available for resting and taking a break. Alongside the boardwalk is a paved biking trail used by bikers and rollerbladders. A great scenic boardwalk.
