One of the most scenic areas of the world. The default photo is taken in Gastineau Channel, with the state capitol of Juneau in the distance. The scenery here is breath-taking, and the sun shining off the glaciers is dazzling in the clear, clear air. If you don't think you are the cruise ship type, the Alaska State Ferries travel from town to town all along the coast.
