The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is a must-see when visiting the OKC area. It is open daily, except for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's Day.

The museum holds an impressive collection of western art and artifacts. Some of the popular annual events held on the grounds are The Chuck Wagon Gathering (May), the Prix de West, and Rodeo Weekend.
There is a restaurant on site, and event rooms are available for rent. The back grounds of the museum are extremely well manicured and landscaped, with flowers in abundance, sculptures, fountains, and lots of large trees providing shade.

Prices are as follows:
Adults: $12.50
Srs. (62+) and students: $9.75
Children 4-12, $5.75
Children 3 and under: free
