A Ponte de Fão é uma ponte sobre o rio Cávado, localizada no concelho de Esposende, distrito de Braga. A ponte foi inaugurada a 7 de Agosto de 1892, aquando recebeu o nome oficial de Ponte Luís Filipe como homenagem ao príncipe herdeiro.
O desenho de engenharia deve-se a Abel Maria Mota, tendo os trabalhos decorrido sob orientação de um engenheiro francês de nome Reynau. Atendendo a que nessa mesma época vivia em Barcelos o célebre engenheiro Gustave Eiffel, é usual atribuir-se-lhe influência nesta construção.
É o único monumento existente no concelho que pertence à arquitectura do ferro.
Foi classificada como Imóvel de Interesse Público em 3 de Janeiro de 1986.
Dados técnicos:
A ponte tem um comprimento 267 metros, dividido em 8 tramos, cada um com 38,5 m assentes sobre 7 pilares construídos em alvenaria, que descem até 15 m de profundidade. Primitivamente o tabuleiro era de madeira (carvalho, pinho e choupo).
Numa das extremidades da ponte está a seguinte inscrição: Casa construtora – Empresa Industrial Portuguesa. Santo Amaro – Lisboa -1891.

The Bridge of Fao is a bridge over the river Cávado, located in the municipality of Esposende, Braga. The bridge was inaugurated on August 7, 1892, when he received the official name of Bridge Luís Filipe as a tribute to the crown prince.
The engineering design is due to Abel Maria Mota and the works passed under the guidance of a French engineer named Reynau. Since at that time lived in Barcelos the famous engineer Gustave Eiffel, it is usual to give him influence in this construction.

The bridge has a length of 267 meters, divided into eight bays, each with 38.5 m based on seven pillars in brickwork, which descend to 15 m deep. Originally the board was made of wood (oak, pine and poplar).
At one end of the bridge is the following inscription: House construction - Portuguese Industrial Company. The Santo Amaro - Lisbon -1891.
