The Manor Pound was used for holding stray or illegally pastured animals. Fines were paid for their release would go to the Lord of the Manor.
The pound was renovated in 1988 and turned into a garden. It was looking very pretty when I visited with all the spring flowers. A peaceful place.
Approximate dimensions: 25 x 25ft
