Shanghai Railroad Museum is located on Tianmu Road E., right next to the Shanghai Railroad Bureau building in Shanghai China.
The museum building is an 80-percent scale replica of Shanghai's Old North Railway Station, a classical British style building in operation from 1909.
Based on the historical pictures and displays, the museum is demonstrating the development of the railway in Shanghai and East China during the past 100 years.
There are six categories of exhibition in the museum with 50-plus programs and about 1000 items including precious old equipment and historical photographs. Particularly, there are also some interactive projects integrating interest and knowledge.
