1977 Glensheen heiress Elizabeth Congdon and her night nurse were brutally murdered in a scene straight from the Clue game, killed with a candlestick. Elizabeth's adopted daughter and her husband were charged with the crime. The story was covered in the media for years. Now owned by the University of Minnesota, the mansion is now open to tours, and many reports have come in regarding the "ghosts" of the mansion. One site boasts a photo: ( visit link)
