The Edmond Historical Society is located in the Edmond Historical Museum, at Stephenson Park (5th St. and Boulevard). This Historical Society/Museum plays a vital role in preserving the fascinating history of the city of Edmond, starting from the early days of the Land Run. The Society has been involved with numerous projects, including the restoration of the 1889 One-room Territorial Schoolhouse, located a block north, and the relocation of the Rodkey home, which now sits in Stephenson Park.
The historical society has a wonderful geneaology room and offers various classes for all ages on all sorts of topics.
