In the Farrington's Grove district, the VCHS researches and educates the public about history of the city of Terre Haute, Vigo County and the Wabash Valley region. The house has a museum which features a toy shop, school room, country store, late 1800's drugstore, and a dressmaker shop. The society has been very helpful with insights related to several waymarks in the region - some correcting errors in other public sources.
