The Goetheanum was rebuilt in concrete after a fire in 1922. The architecture of Rudolf Steiner, the founder and first leader of the Anthroposophical Society is not following any other known style, but there are numerous buildings (usually dwelling houses) in the close neighbourhood built according to the same principles.
