Kapli nechal postavit r.1348 Dobeš z Bechyne, který pri ní zrídil poustevnu. Puvodne byla otevrená, postavená na osmistenných základech, ale r.1595 byla zazdena. Roku 1841 vybudovali Geymüllerové, majitelé panství, pod kaplí hrobku, jejíž vchod kryje železná deska o hmotnosti 1100 kilogramu.

Chapel was built in 1348 by Dobes of Bechyne. Originally it was opened but in 1595 were erected the walls. In 1841 Gaymüllers, owner of the manor, built under chapel a tomb.
