The home of the Isotopes in Albequerque, NM offers a lot to all people... baseball fans and families looking for a night out.
The Isotopes are the AAA affiliate of the LA Dodgers.
First, the parking is very easy. There is a HUGE lot directly south of the stadium for $8. Easily walking distance for the normal person. The stadium also has many turn around places that you can drop off people that might have a little harder of a time walking.
There isn't a bad seat in this house either. You can pay the family entry price and roam all over the right field area where there is a huge playground and opportunities to catch a homerun. For the baseball fan, $25 gets you VERY close to the action.
The food here is great! I just happened to be there on 50-cent hot-dog night, so that what a huge bonus. Nachos were $4 for a smaller portion, enough for me but not so much you are wondering when they'll end.
The 'topes mascot is all over the place during the game and with little contests between innings, there is very little 'down-time'.
Congrats to the 'topes for giving the 'querque area such a great product!
