The Historic Fire Tower is open to the public, accessible through a walking path followed by a steep climb. A rustic pull over with a picnic table and kiosk with information on the tower is at the parking area. Built in 1934, located on the Register of National Historic Lookouts. Kiosk also includes tall tales by Paul Bunyan on the building of the tower. You can climb the tower, but the lookout square at the very top is locked.
