This secession church was built at the place, where swamp was, so it's built on armoured concrete slab, taken by armoured concrete pylons. It was built in 1910-1913 in Art Nouveau style instead of demolished St. Stephen Church according to the design of town architect Franz Holik.
The ground plan of these secession building is in the shape of the cross. The length is 46 m and width 19 meters. Above the entry is relief depicting Annunciation of the Virgin Mary.
