Being close to the shoreline and near woodland, parkland and fields this Country Park offers a wealth of birdlife to watch. Amongst the native birds are the park peacocks which roam around freely.

The Friends of Upton Country Park have a list of the birds you could see here (visit link)
There have been over 150 species recorded due to the wide range of habitats.

During our visit we saw a Canada Goose, many Ducks, Terns, Robin, Treecreeper, Moorhen, Crow and Peacocks. There is an information sign inside the bird hide which overlooks Holes Bay and beyond. Also there was a feeding station for the smaller birds in the park near to the gardens around Upton House.
